Hi! I'm Celeste, a freelance film editor originally from Kwa Zulu Natal and now living in Cape Town South Africa. I have been passionate about film and television for as long as I can remember, being especially inspired by the kind of work that challenges the way you think or feel.

I started my career in 2004 as an editor, here I learned the necessary skills needed to fast move my way up to producer through to creative director where I spent 5 years forming and guiding teams of talented scriptwriters, motion designers, editors and audio technicians to produce award winning on-air promos and tv campaigns, film trailers and short films for eTV's inhouse production agency.

In 2017 I decided it was time to go back to my true passion and left the 9-5 for full time freelance editing. My editing career spans television series, branded work, commercials, movie trailers and documentaries. Because I’m freelance, all of the filmmakers and clients that I collaborate with come from cold outreach or word of mouth.
